The following images are from StarDot NetCam XL 3 Megapixel and 1.3 Megapixel cameras. We believe that NetCam XL produces the highest quality webcam images in the industry. To produce images of this quality it is important to note that image composition, lighting conditions, and camera settings must be taken into consideration. Why is the NetCam XL image quality so high? Unlike other network cameras, NetCam XL is a digital camera in the truest sense -- it does not employ an "off the shelf" imaging chip set. NetCam XL uses only high end frame transfer CCD and CMOS image sensors coupled with the StarDot Imaging Engine Processor. Over 15 years of digital image and video processing engineering is designed into each camera. The result is crisp images with excellent color and contrast. Take a look at the images below and we think you'll see why the NetCam XL 1.3 Megapixel and 3 Megapixel cameras produce the best images in the industry (note: the images below are straight out of customer's StarDot NetCam XL cameras -- they have not been enhanced or modified in any way).
And as you can see from the images below, the NetCam XL is designed for all weather conditions. It can be used in temperatures ranging from -40° to +122°F (-40° to +50°C) without a heater or blower.
